The Bear That Wasn't / De Beer Die Geen Beer Was

Hey Everybody!

I'm proud to announce that our children's play De Beer Die Geen Beer Was premieres at Schouwburg Arnhem on December 29, 2011.
The play is based on the brilliant novel The Bear That Wasn't by Frank Tashlin. It's about being true to yourself no matter what other people say or do.
The book will be reissued by Literary Production Company De Wintertuin to accompany the play. The text was rendered into a brand new translation by Dennis Gaens.

It's a lovely music show appropriate for kids from about 6 years and up ánd their parents of course!
The wonderful Martijn Bosman is joining me on stage. A CD with all our songs from this production will be available on December 29 as well.

Never before have I been part of a theatre production. I love the fact that there's some acting involved. It's also the first time that I sing in Dutch the entire performance.
